Ian McDermond Director / Owner founded the company in 1990, as a young man and in his teenage years he finished his 5-year apprenticeship before sailing on a super yacht around the world for 8-years as first mate. Attention to detail and quality workmanship for Ian is key. Through the years Ian had the honour and privilege of taking on the role of President of the Auckland Master Plumbers and The New Zealand Master Plumbers Association Nationwide. McDermond P&G Solutions Ltd is an on-going member of the Master Plumbers and commit ourselves to the task at hand. McDermond P&G Solutions Ltd, have a team of young men qualified in their respective fields, plumbing, roofing, gas fitting. Our administration team also provide the attention our customers require when it comes to booking jobs, quotes, queries, and most importantly providing quality service.
It has been Ian’s lifelong determination to provide the future of plumbing, roofing, gas fitting etc by ensuring we have only the best at hand, he believes in giving the next generation of young apprentices the opportunity they need to up skill their trade by providing the best mentor’s available. Ian is a specialist in Diesel systems which is rare in Auckland. Ian spent several hours finding a whole range of problems, he wrote us a full report for the landlord and ourselves.
